Yoga & Applied Neuroscience
Alice has a BSc in Art Therapy, which she practised professionally for nearly 20 years. She completed her Art Therapy studies in the Czech Republic, then practised in both Germany and France. In 2002, Alice discovered yoga and started incorporating its methods into her work. Encouraged by the positive effect yoga had on her patients, in 2015, she became a full-time yoga teacher after relocating to Scotland.
Alice is passionate about brain health and about keeping mobile and independent both physically and cognitively well into an old age. She is completely immersed in studying and understanding movement and her hobbies include contemporary dance, martial arts and rock climbing, all of which enrich her yoga practice and teaching. Her passion for brain health led her to study applied neuroscience with Z-Health University. She has completed their core curriculum and is now enrolled into their advanced courses. Alice integrates her in-depth knowledge and experience of psychology, movement, breath and neuroscience into her yoga teaching practice.
